One Minute: No Island Man

What would be of my life if I let my friend(s) make all my decisions for me for 48 hours?  would I first have to leave a little user manual before I go passive or trust them enough knowing at the end of the day I'd pat them on the back for a job well done? I am no island, who I am today and what I will become is shaped by the company I keep.

One Minute: Life Choice

It is the heart and not the circumstance that we must focus on changing. When you take care of the greatest commandment -love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength- then all the others will fall in place. It is this connection to the source of righteousness that sets you up to worship God, honour your parents, preserve life, and respect your neighbours. The state of your heart predetermines the outcome long before the circumstance falls into play therefore the deeds are nothing more than fruits. The harvest is not surprise

Work on Love

I am working on the foundations that will make the life experience beautiful...its loads of work. I remind myself and my sweetheart that we must make each other better. If I can not be the partner she needs to be the woman she must be then she is better off without me...what we are to each other now is not a preview but a reality of what is to come there is no magic of transformation at the alter.

Right now we are talking communication... which is loaded with everything,  honesty, patience, forgiveness, romance, family, goals, ideas, events, ambition. How well we do in this determine how we handle other core pillars such as money matter issues- our needs, family that make it all worth investing our lives. We are taking it one day at time, working on our love.

“‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove savage beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. Chapters of Life

As I walked to work this morning thoughts of college days came to mind and more specifically the people that made that Chapters of life beautiful.  Pulled together by the hunger to achieve, to mean something and leave a legacy behind and with this serious cause came fan filled ride through to graduation. Many pages written that have shaped what we have become today. The season had an alpha and an omega.

Different books of life we are but with shared chapters to reference from. We make our own experiences, choose who we walk with, whose we belong to and knowing the times and seasons will determine how interesting a book we will be.

Played by God

I look into 2009 plans for travel, business, health, savings, lifestyle, friendships, romance, career advancement and there are situations that God can stand on trial for crimes against me. Where was in when... (I can fill several situations where God absent when I really needed him) Mteja hapatikani.

He changed plans without a consultation. His word says that he suffered as I have and will all for my transgrassion. The seasons that come by that are off-script are opportunities for me to be submitted and synchronised to his will and purpose.

Life is full of the unexpected therefore I plan my life diary in pencil ready with an eraser to make ammends as he continues to make it clear everyday.

One minute: The audition

Friends are the film crew that work with you to shoot your autobiography...make them audition, treasure those that make it and shoot the scene that is present with excellence like it was the last. Oscar's are earned through hardwork that goes to make a winning story come to life. God wrote the script and I am giving it the best to turn out as he intended.

I passed audition... watch out for the premier.

One minute: follow me?

They say show me your friends and I will show you your character. Waa! meaning that if you asked God to show you his friends and he pointed at me then I must be a reflection of his character. mmh... I wonder how accurate that mirror is. Did I say to anyone that I am heaven abound...follow me as I follow Christ? ha ha ha I was kidding just focus on Jesus let me do a lil mirror prayer I'll see you later.
